Two Artists - One Show

The Manship Theatre is proud to host a special album release night featuring two concerts by two special artists.   Jazz musician/artist Kirk Andrés Wilson from Los Angeles, CA and his Band have teamed up with local Christian singer/songwriter Bruce Boyet and band for a dual concert celebrating CD releases for both artists.
Kirk's CD "My Love" is  finding good success across the country and is being distributed worldwide through Sony Red music Label.  Kirk's shows are amazingly entertaining as he shows off his prowess as a virtuoso Jazz keyboardist and talented guitar player and vocalist.  Bruce Boyet will be playing a set of from his debut CD release, "Live the Life," and be accompanied also by his band made up of local Baton Rouge musicians.  This night is one you don't want to miss with a variety of music genres from Smooth Jazz to Acoustic Folk Rock Music with a positive and spiritual message.

Kirk Andrés Wilson is a Professional Entertainer and Jazz Musician from Los Angeles but originally hails from nearby Gonzales, LA. He has a very soulful sound. His single "Wonderful World" from his recent release “My Love” has entered the top 10 in Billboards Top 100 Singles. Within a few years of moving to CA, Kirk adds to his list of achievements by performing with Grammy Winning Artists, Stevie Wonder, Ray Parker, Jr., Norman Connors, 1500 or Nothin' Band and a continuously growing list of artists. Kirk’s live shows are exciting and entertaining and well received as he displays his talents at the piano, guitar and vocals. This show will include a list of top musicians from Los Angeles, Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas.

Louisiana based singer/songwriter Bruce Boyet has been busy carving out his unique brand of Christian folk rock. His music is uplifting, yet real - as it focuses on themes of self-enrichment and redemption. His music serves as a conduit, guiding us back to the right path as he delivers his message of positivity. Bruce has been hard at work writing and recording songs for his upcoming CD release entitled “Live the Life” set to launch early 2018. Bruce will be joined by a variety of musicians from the Baton Rouge area.
